This paper has been presented in the17th NELTA International Conference. It is based on the very common mistakes of grammar the Bangladeshi students make, that is the use of β€œ-s” and β€œ-es” morphemes with third person singular number in present indefinite tense even though they learn English from the primary to the tertiary level of education as a compulsory subject. An action research has been performed to find out the reasons behind making these mistakes.
