Daffodil International University Celebrates 1000 Scopus/ISI Indexed Research Publications in 2022 with Research Award Giving Ceremony 2023

Daffodil International University, known as the leading IT-based University of the country, celebrated a major milestone with 1000 Scopus/ISI indexed research publications and book chapters in 2022. To recognize the contributions of faculty members, students, and alumni, the DIU Research Division organized the "Research Award Giving Ceremony 2023" on May 13, 2023 at the International Conference Hall of the university, Daffodil Smart City, Dhaka.

Honorable Member of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, was the chief guest at the event. He urged the professors and researchers to work and publish in areas that can contribute to making Bangladesh a Smart Nation and lead it to be a developed nation by 2041.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, DIU, Dr. Md. Sabur Khan urged upon the researchers to go for patents and create commercial outcomes and opportunities of their work. Nearly #92_lacs taka was distributed among the researchers as recognition of their significant number of publications in highly indexed journals. About 80 percent papers were published in Q1 and Q2 categories.
