Nowadays, heart diseases are increasing at an alarming rate. Timely checkup can prevent many heart conditions and with the help of Internet of Things (IoT), various diagnosis processes can be automated to a great extent. This paper discusses about RemECG, which is a prototype of a portable IoT based electrocardiography machine. With the help of this device, electrocardiograms can be recorded instantaneously and uploaded to a remote webserver. From the web app of the system, doctors and healthcare professionals can view and download the ECG reports along with patients' details. There are also options for creating new patient profiles and deleting reports and other records.
