SaaS: A New Era for Call Center Based on Cloud Computing

Abstract

Cloud Computing has become an emerging field of research in recent days for its various cost effective approaches. In this research work, we have developed a live chatting system based on cloud computing to demonstrate its effectiveness in call centers. The developed system follows the core idea of cloud computing, especially the ‗Software as a Service‘ (SaaS) model and its utilization in IT solution companies. The demand of this model is increasing rapidly among the clients because of its cost efficiency and flexibility. Moreover, customer care service providing companies spend a lot of mon-ey to buy and maintain chatting software. For this reason, a real time chatting application has been developed in this work in such a way that users of this system can have on-demand and hosted services. The application has been created by using Dot Net framework and written in C# with Asynchronous Java-Script and XML (AJAX) and Language-Integrated Query (LINQ) functionalities. The application has been designed as a web based real time software to those companies, which are worried about expenses and maintenance of the customer care software. The system was simulated in a real time environment to support and solve customers‘ queries. This cloud based application also guarantees how one can be benefitted using the SaaS model compare to the exist-ing system.

Long Term Evolution (LTE): Next Generation Wireless Communication of NASA for Satellite Engineering

Abstract

This research work is anticipated for verifying the implementation of Long Term Evolution (LTE) over satellite in Forward Link for the next generation communication of NASA for satellite engineering or Extraterrestrial purposes. Recent developments in wireless communication such as MIMO technique that allow improving the received signal quality and capacity, in combination with OFDM makes the signals more robust against delay spread in frequency selective channel. A dual satellite Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing and Multiple-Input and Multiple-Output (OFDM-MIMO) model is considered which provides a handy and robust resource over satellite channel for this purpose. It is OFDM in aggregation to quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) with Turbo Coding using 2×2 MIMO as specified for LTE 5 MHz BW, transmitted with satellite power delay profile has analyzed in terms of Bit Error Rate (BER). Spatial multiplexing and diversity are the two features that MIMO provides which has also been investigated. The investigation has been conducted considering downlink transmission over satellite forward link over dual-satellite 2×2 MIMO channel.

Implementing Artificially Intelligent Ghosts to Play MS. Pac-Man Game by Using Neural Network at Social Media Platform

Abstract
Nowadays, social media games such as games in facebook platform is one of the fastest growing and popular industries in the world. The goal of most social games is to entertain the player through the interaction among the players and the non-player characters (NPCs) within their friends or mutual friends. Thus, it is required to develop suitable NPCs that are fun to play against and the area of computational intelligence offers us a variety of techniques to do so. Since its beginning, game playing was a field of research in Artificial Intelligence (AI). In games, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used to produce the illusion of intelligence in the behavior of NPCs. In the Pac-Man game, the NPCs are the ghosts. This paper illustrates a research design of MS. Pac-Man game by implementing neural networks in the movements of ghosts. Each ghost is given an unique intelligent method for movement to establish the levels of challenges in the Pac-Man game and making the game more interesting and fun to play. In addition, performance of the apps and Application Programming Interface (API) have been examined in facebook platform to check its compatibility and user friendliness.

Eye Gaze Behavior of Virtual Agent in Gaming Environment by Using Artificial Intelligence

Abstract:

In the gaming environment, building natural looking avatar is a challenging task. An avatar represents a human character which includes speech, action, and eye movement in a virtual world. The movement and the expression of eye modeling is cognitive function. In order to assess virtual agent’s eye gaze behavior on the basis of cognitive and emotional characteristics, this paper presents an experimental simulation to identify perfection of the eye gaze behavior. For this reason, this paper splits eye behavior into few levels by using CADIA Populus. But the goal of this research work is to focus on gaze behavior. In addition, it briefly describes the cognitive activities based on different cases. Furthermore this paper introduces an integrated framework for modeling the interaction of agent with the immersive environment. Finally, the gaze strategy and some simulation results from previous studies have been discussed to provide a concrete idea about gaze behavioral science in gaming environment using artificial intelligence.

Fine-tuning of k in a K-fold Multicast Network with Finite Queue using Markovian Model

ABSTRACT
Multicast has brought a drastic change in the field of networking by offering bandwidth effective technology that leads to reduce tariff. It is popular for optimizing network performances. This paper evaluated a model for fine tuning the value of a k in a K-fold multicast network under different traffic loads under poisson traffic with finite queue at each node. Stationary distribution has been derived for the network states and various expressions have been developed for the network to determine throughput and the blocking probability of the network. It has been established from this research work that by increasing the fold number, the network throughput can be increased very fast. However, it has been also observed that after increasing the fold number up to a certain value, the blocking probability stops to increase and becomes constant. We have also noticed that the throughput increases with the increase of the offered traffic and the blocking probability decreases when the system parameter k is increased. Moreover, an optimum value of k ceases the blocking probability for a particular value of the offered traffic for finetuning the outcome of the network.

Meta Analysis of Series of Toxicities Assessment Trails of Various Preparations for Health Care based on Gastro Intestinal Disorders

Abstract:

The incidence of gastro intestinal disease is alarming problem all over the world particularly in third world countries like Bangladesh. Different tablet and liquid preparations are used to overcome the diseases. Different experiments are also conducted in different times on the different drugs of gastrointestinal diseases in the pharmacy lab. Among them some of the drugs are toxics. In a clinical trail the drugs are injected to the experimental animals and placebo are injected to the animals of the control group. All of drugs are measured on the basis of the results of the control group. The drugs are recommended on the basis of the results obtained from Meta analysis of series of trails. Meta analysis is the analysis of analyses which has combined the different results achieved from different analysis. Now a day, it has taken part in every important sector in our daily life by making pooled information through individual investigation. In this paper we have anticipated the side effects of different drugs used especially on gastro intestinal disorders through Meta analysis. Fixed effect model and random effect model have been used to draw inference regarding the side effects of the drugs by compared control group and experimental group. Meta analysis has been performed here to estimate the combined effect of toxicity. Moreover we have combined the effect size through forest plot which shows the results in graphical visualization.

Abstract

This paper is an extended work of Hasan et al., (2012) where a teletraffic model was shown. In a previous research work, the authors presented a k fold multicast network with optimum output. Multicast has brought a change in network operation by providing bandwidth effective technology and reducing traffic loads. It is popular for performance optimization in a network. In this paper, a new model has been designed to establish a suitable value of the fold k of a k-fold multicast network under different traffic loads under Poisson traffic with finite queue at each node. Stationary distribution has been derived for the network states with the derivation of expressions for the network throughput and the blocking probability of the network. The research has explored that the network throughput increases very fast if the fold number is increased. However, at a certain value of the fold, the blocking probability stops to increase and it becomes constant. The study further discovered that as the offered traffic is increased, the throughput also increases. With the increase of system parameter k, the blocking probability decreases. Moreover, after an optimum value of k, the blocking probability becomes static for a particular value of the offered traffic.
