Short Biography
I am Kanij Ahmad, working as a Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering , Daffodil International University. My research interests include design, control, and diagnosis of electric drives; digital power control and management; fault diagnosis and condition monitoring of power electronics components; renewable system and smart grid design. I am graduated from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh (major-EEE) and completed my M S degree from Institute of Energy, Dhaka University (DU), Bangladesh on renewable Energy Technology. I have research experience of PV system feasibility analysis using RETSCREEN software, control mechanisms of DFIG-based wind power systems using MATLAB-Simulink and ANN based pattern recognition work using MATLAB. Recently, I am exploring the research field related to the power system stability control mechanism which includes frequency adjustment for power system stability, optimal size, amp and feasibility of DG in distribution system for loss minimization. I have 4 IEEE research papers and 2 national journal related to my research work.
