Juwel Rana is a dynamic researcher at the intersection of food technology, postharvest physiology, bioactive compound analysis, and waste management. Armed with a masters in Food Engineering from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), and his career is driven by a passion for enhancing food quality, safety, and sustainability throughout the supply chain. His expertise lies in developing innovative technologies to extend the shelf life of perishable foods, minimizing postharvest losses, and maximizing nutritional value. Mr Rana's research also delves into the analysis of bioactive compounds in foods, exploring their potential health benefits and applications in functional food development. A staunch advocate for sustainability, Mr. Rana is actively involved in projects aimed at reducing food waste and optimizing resource utilization. His work encompasses the development of eco-friendly packaging materials, valorization of food by-products, and implementation of efficient waste management strategies within the food industry. With a strong publication record in leading scientific journals and a track record of securing research grants, Mr. Rana is recognized for his contributions to advancing knowledge in food science and technology.
