Short Biography
Dr. Imran Mahmud serves as the Head and Professor at the Department of Software Engineering, Daffodil International University, Bangladesh. He enriches his expertise through roles as a visiting professor at the Graduate School of Business, Universiti Sains Malaysia, and a visiting researcher at Thuongmai University, Vietnam. Dr. Mahmud's academic journey includes a PhD in Technology Management from Universiti Sains Malaysia (2017) and a Master’s in Software Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, UK (2008). His career has seen significant milestones, such as being a senior lecturer at Universiti Sains Malaysia, and visiting lecturer roles in Indonesia and Hong Kong. Dr. Mahmud's contributions to academia and research are recognized by several prestigious awards, including the “Hall of Fame” and “Prestigious Publication Award” from Universiti Sains Malaysia, along with honors from Thailand and India for his work as a young researcher and scientist.
