Short Biography

Sakia Shabnam Kader is doing research in the field of climate science. She is more focused on studying the impact of climate change on severe weather events and their characteristics specifically on the thunderstorm and lightning events of Bangladesh. She completed her B.Sc and M.S from University of Chittagong in Physics. She received the Indian Science and Research Fellowship and worked as the research trainee at the Central University of Rajasthan, India under the Indian National Science Academy. Currently, She is continuing her M.Phil study in Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. She has many publications in renowned international journals and presented her work in various international conferences.
