K. M. Mahdiuzzaman Sayed, who graduated from Bangladesh Agricultural University with both MS and BSc degrees in Food Engineering, commenced his academic journey as a Lecturer in July 2023. He conducted research on product development, focusing on ready-to-cook meals and amino acid analysis, during his BSc project and MS thesis, which was funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Additionally, he collaborated with researchers from national and international institutes on projects such as nutritional assessment, brinjal pickle development, and fish-supplemented pasta, resulting in publications in renowned national and international journals. Since the early stages of his career, he has been supervising undergraduate project students, who are engaged in research on nutritional assessment and product development. His research interests encompass Food Engineering, Food Processing, Preservation/Post-Harvest Technology, Food Component Isolation for Product Development, Food Analysis, Amino Acids, Food Microbiology, and Nutrition.
