Short Biography

I completed my undergraduate studies at Dhaka University, where I honed my foundational knowledge in nutrition and food science. The rich academic environment and rigorous coursework fuelled my curiosity and desire to delve deeper into this fascinating field. My thesis topic is 'Nutrient profile of leafy vegetables consumed by ethnic community in Bangladesh'. My research endeavours revolve around unravelling the mysteries of nutrition. I explore topics such as: Nutrient Bioavailability: Investigating how our bodies absorb and utilize essential nutrients from various foods. Functional Foods: Exploring the potential health benefits of specific foods and their bioactive compounds. Dietary Patterns: Analysing dietary habits and their impact on overall well-being. Food Safety and Quality: Ensuring that the food we consume meets stringent safety standards. Sustainable Food Systems: Advocating for environmentally conscious practices in food As a lecturer, I have the privilege of sharing my knowledge with budding nutritionists and engineers. Guiding students through their academic journey and inspiring them to make meaningful contributions to the field is immensely rewarding. My vision as a researcher is to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and practical applications. By translating research findings into actionable recommendations, I aim to empower individuals to make informed dietary choices for optimal health.
