Shaping the Future: Strategic Research Directions at DIU

On 11 November 2024, a significant faculty meeting titled "SHAPING THE FUTURE:Strategic Research Directions at DIU" was held at the International Conference Hall, Knowledge Tower, Daffodil Smart City (DSC). The session was chaired by Dr. Hrishikesh Chakraborty, Professor of Biostatistics & Bioinformatics at Duke University, United States, and International Advisor for the Division of Research (DoR), DIU.
In this session following the survey, funding opportunities were explored to support and expand research initiatives. The meeting addressed the key challenges faced by researchers, with practical solutions discussed to remove barriers and create a more supportive research environment. Updates on research policies and best practices were shared, ensuring that researchers are aligned with the university’s standards of excellence and compliance. Additionally, strategies were developed to boost researcher engagement and motivation, fostering a culture of innovation and dedication within DIU.
This initiative underscored DIU’s commitment to advancing its research ecosystem by actively listening to faculty concerns and responding with actionable solutions. By bringing together key stakeholders, DIU reaffirmed its dedication to creating a dynamic, collaborative environment that empowers researchers to reach their full potential.
