On 14 September 2025, the Division of Research (DoR) initiated a Research Training Program on SPSS for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS) at Daffodil International University (DIU). The training aims to enhance faculty members’ data analysis skills and strengthen their overall research capacity. Scheduled to run for two months (September–October 2025), the program is being facilitated by Dr. Md. Kamrul Hossain, Additional Director of the Division of Research and Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Faculty of Science and Information Technology (FSIT).
The training focuses on practical applications of SPSS in academic research, including data management, descriptive and inferential statistics, and result interpretation for publication. Faculty members are gaining hands-on experience through guided exercises, enabling them to conduct and analyze research more effectively within their respective disciplines. This initiative reflects DIU’s commitment to advancing research competence, fostering evidence-based practice, and promoting a data-driven academic culture across the university.
