The Division of Research (DoR) of Daffodil International University (DIU) organized an academic session titled “Proposal Writing Process and Financial Budgeting Procedures for the ATF-HEAT Project” on 08 February 2026 (Sunday) at 10:00 AM. The program was held at the Professor Dr. Aminul Islam Seminar Hall, 6th Floor, Knowledge Tower, Daffodil Smart City (DSC).
The session was facilitated by Professor Dr. Mohammad Rokibul Kabir, Dean, Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurship (FBE), DIU, who delivered an insightful presentation on developing competitive project proposals and preparing accurate financial budgets under the ATF-HEAT Project framework.
During the session, he shared practical guidelines on proposal structuring, aligning project objectives with funding priorities, budgeting compliance, and financial planning techniques required for successful grant applications. He also highlighted common challenges in proposal submission and provided strategic recommendations to enhance approval prospects.
Faculty members and researchers from different departments actively participated in the session. The interactive discussion enabled participants to clarify queries regarding proposal preparation, budget formulation, and project management requirements.
The program significantly contributed to strengthening DIU’s institutional capacity for externally funded research by equipping participants with practical knowledge and hands-on understanding of the ATF-HEAT proposal and budgeting process.
