Abstract

The chapter explores how tourism informatics creates future-focused changes in the tourism and hospitality sector. Tourism informatics uses AI, big data analytics, IoT, and blockchain technology to drive intelligent choices, personalized tourism experiences, and sustainable procedures. Technology integration between these components produces operational improvements that produce innovative marketing approaches and improved customer engagement and service delivery capabilities. Tourism informatics requires attention to privacy protection, ethical norms, and maintaining secure data management systems, according to the chapter. Secondary research conducted through literature studies presents the possible obstacles and benefits that will emerge from implementing future projects while stressing the requirement for public sector partnerships with businesses and technology suppliers. Tourism informatics adoption creates possibilities for an efficient and sustainable industry that strongly focuses on customers.
